Het Noorse Darkthrone heeft een nominatie voor de Alarm Awards in de metal categorie geweigerd. "We spelen echte en oprechte black metal, en willen geen deel uitmaken van de glitter en showbiz kant van de muziekwereld", aldus drummer Fenriz.
